The Holdrege Police Department serves a community of 5,636. It is
the county seat of Phelps County, population 9,747, located in south central Nebraska.
The Police Department has 10
sworn officers and 5 full time dispatchers. We are "proactive" and work with the community, the Phelps County Sheriff's Office
and the Nebraska State Patrol to solve problems in the community.
Officers are trained in a variety of areas to bring
professionalism to the department including crime prevention, drug education, traffic enforcement and all types of investigations.
